Deep sediment sampling with a vibrocorer
Obtaining deep sediment samples is one of Geomytsa's main areas of expertise. Since our beginnings we have invested in developing our own equipment and in incorporating advanced technologies to guarantee efficient, high-quality sampling.
Our experience and technical capacity allow us to undertake geotechnical campaigns in different marine environments, both nationally and internationally, adapting the sampling systems to the characteristics of the ground and to the needs of each project.

- Commercial vibrocorers: Geo Corer 3000-6000, Feritech and Rossfelder P5 and P3.
Surface sediment sampling
Surface sediment sampling provides essential information for characterising the seabed and analysing its properties.
The samples obtained make it possible to identify the nature and composition of the surface materials, as well as to determine geotechnical, physical and chemical parameters relevant to engineering, research and environmental assessment studies.
At Geomytsa we have different sampling systems that allow us to select the most suitable technique for each type of sediment and study objective.
